I set up Luisa Barnes Interior Design in 2018. I trained at leading Interior Design School KLC and graduated with distinction in 2017.

I have many years of experience of doing up my own homes and prior to setting up my business I project managed the build of a holiday home in Cornwall. This provided the invaluable experience of going through the whole building process; from planning permission, to tender, to build and finally decoration and furniture installation. I bring a very professional approach to dealing with clients and work hard to ensure that your project will be completed on time, within budget and to the highest standards.

My earlier career as a qualified chartered accountant has also shaped my approach. The skills I gained in finance and the corporate world—organisation, attention to detail, clear communication and rigorous project management—now underpin the professionalism I bring to each and every interior design project.

At the heart of my work is a love for contemporary, elegant, relaxed design. I enjoy layering colour, texture and natural materials, and I have a particular appreciation for well-crafted furniture and beautifully made accessories. My aim is always to create stylish, comfortable interiors that feel personal, effortless, and perfectly aligned with the way you live.
